Lyrics!!

Ok so I write songs. Lots and lots of songs. Haha. I am not the best singer but here is the lyrics to a song I call Big White Smile and a video of me singing it.

Verse 1
Everynight, I’d go to bed and pray, think about what they’d say….If only there was away (away, a way ay ay) And then, the troubles would just end, the people would just blend and we’d do it over again.
Corus
Hey, let’s start a brand new beat, tell everyone you meet, let’s change up the game, for the rules let’s rearrange. And show that big white smile, if only for a while and one day you’ll look back, got to think about how we act.

Verse 4
Everyday, I’d teach the world about me and hope that they could see, I’d reach out just to show, and push through so they know. It was; A boy who meets a girl, a girl who falls inlove, he gave her just one pearl, reminds her of the one love dove.
Corus
Hola, let’s start this brand new beat, tell everyone you meet, get everyone involved, life’s mystery we’ll solve. And show that big white smile, if only for a while, and one day you’ll look back , got to think about how we act. Turn up the radio, tell everyone you know, so we can find a way, to speak what we need to say.

Verse 3
Look at that, that boy broke the girls heart, should have known it from the start, but if that girl was me, I would have fell so happily. Because, of just that one boy, guy’s have their girls as their toy, so is this always true, would I change the game for you.
Corus
Bonjure, let’s start our brand new beat, tell everyone you meet, let’s change up this game, for rules, let’s rearrange. And strut you stuff for them, confidence is within, and one day you’ll look back, got to think about how we act. How does this story end, in sadness in happiness.

Bridge
The girl cried for 10 days, but then it just went away, she found a brand new boy, who didn’t treat her like a toy. We’ve all heard this before, now we must take a stand, come with me and say (say, sayyy)
Corus
Im just a girl, he’s a boy, can’t change that but let’s change up the game, for the rules let’s rearrange. And show that big white smile, if only for a while.

and sorry I kinda messed up in the video. I will make a new one soon but I have to go to bed. haha

Follow your dreams

I think everyone should get to do what they love. Fight to follow their dreams but sometimes it is hard to know how to do that. Or what if you have more than one dream. I have lots. I wanna be a model (though I might not be pretty enough). I want to be a singing (but my voice isn't that amazing). I want to act (but I don't think I'd get cast). I want to own a day care center (but thats a lot of work). I want to be a wedding plannin (but I am probably not talented enough or cut out for it). I want to be a role model (but I don't think I am). All these goals are reachable and they are good goals too. The bad thing is, we should have these (no, no, nos) in our minds. If you want to be a doctor, don't say your not smart enough just study as long as you can. If you want to be an actress don't say you can't be someone else but try and think of ways you can. If you take time to think about what you want and how to acheive it, it really can happen but you need those negitive thoughts, we all have, to go away .

Sick

I am sick. My throat hurts and I have lots of homework but here are some fun sick poems .

Sick like Tommy.
I don't feel good, mommy.
My stomach hurts.
I'm starting to look like Tommy.
Now, that made u alert.

You'll turn blue
I have really bad cramps
I take a pill or too
no stairs, I'll only take ramps
You'll carry me until you turn blue

A case of the chicken pocks
I didn't know what to do
I have about 1,000 dots
I want them just to shoo
Now I have to get 10 shots

haha thanks. When you feel sick MAYBE these will make u laugh

Fierce and Fabulous!

As anyone who has read more than two of my blogs can tell, none of them are a like. I write about anything from people I care about to parenting, to being happy, to helping others be happy. This blog is no different.
A lot of celebrities get hated on and I will be writing a good amount of blog (spread out over time) about individuals but for this one, I am just going to tell you who I think is fierce and fabulous. This is a blog I will write a lot so there will be many celebrities coverd for different reasons but I will only do one at a time. Feel free to comment if you agree or disagree.
I have always thought Hayden Panettiere, the amazing actris from Heroes. If you don't know who she is, you seriously need to start watching your bring it on movies! haha. She is extremely talented as well as beautiful. She is one of the few young stars who completely have their act together. She was also in Raising Helen (A great movie, you should all see), played the voice for dot in a bugs life, and was in Remember the Titian on disney channel. She was also in Ice Princess, a awesome movie for girls. She also models and is the spokesmodel for Candies at Kohls. She is a supporter of the Ronald McDonald house Charities and has one impressive resume.

Day of Silence

Today of is the day of silence at my school. The people who are in the "Gay-Strait Allience Club" and other supporters wear a shirt that says "Day of silence" and there are some stickers too. The people who wear the shirts and stickers do not talk for the whole day. Some people are very strict and don't talk at all and others don't really care. If you are not aware for what the day of silence is, it is a day people don't talk to stand up for gay, bisexuals, or transexuals. I do think it is important that everyone feels comfortable in our school. Everyone has the right to equal opportunites and should get to express themself freely. I know a lot of people are against the idea of excepting gays and lesbians because of their religion. I also don't believe it is "right" to be gay because of what God says but I don't think we have the right as humans to judge others. I think it is our job to love everyone. Everyone makes bad decisions (I am not saying being gay is a bad decision). Noone can blame others though because we are not in their shoes. I think the day of silence is great because even if not everyone is doing it, it makes others feel like they are in a suportive enviorment. This does not just have to be for gays. I encourage all of you, young or old, male or female, popular or dorky, to help someone else. Don't judge people because of what they look like, how they talk, or who they like or hang out with. Get to know someone and try as hard as you can to put yourself in their shoes. If someone is being bullied take a stand for them. Show that you care about others, even if they are not your friends. If you see someone else that is unhappy, show them that you care and I bet carma will come around and someone else will do the same for you.

58 minutes until school ends, 50 now

School. I am sitting here. It's almost over but them I have a soccer game in the rainy freezing cold. School, I am not a fan of. I am OK with learning but some things I just don't care about and I really don't want to do homework for. And then they test us. They say we should study for test but test are to see what you know and if we are being graded and studing for it, it is just what we remeber from the night before. We soon forget it in day, weeks, and a month tops. I like coming everyday and seeing my friend. Even though sports can be challenging I love seeing what I am made of. I love taking my favorite classes like Drama. I like meeting new people and even going to english class. School. I HATE homework. With everything in my day, homework gets me stressed out of my mind. I need some r and r. I need 12 hours of sleep not 7. School. We have no school tomoro because they Junoirs are testing. I might go to the Holicost museam that just opened up with my brother and his friends. I think it should be cool. Then I have another soccer game. I love soccer though. I love doing well at soccer, being agressive, scoring, and beating the other team. I love being outside knowning I am doing something good for my body. I love getting bruises and knowning I worked hard for those. I love it! School. It can be hard and stressful but it's worth it. Now, only 50 minutes left of school.

A day without him

If you think this is about a boy/guy/male your right. If you think I "like" him, your wrong. Even though, I do lovee boys, I am not sure how much I will blog about them. This is about... "A friend". I am going to call him Jack. I have known Jack for a long time. You might even say my whole life. We were not always that close but resently I think we have become a lot closer. I love hanging out with Jack. He has awesome friends too. They are not boring or over the top. They are just cool people. It is a great enviorment. Jack may be going away, or he might not be. I would be sad to see him go for many reasons. He has always been there. He is kind of like a dog. They are always around and part of your daily life. You just couldn't imagin your life without your dog. I also love going to eat with him. If I am hunger, I have no dout Jack will be too and we can get food. Yummm. Jack is just a friend, even like brother. Sometimes he may pick on me but without him, life would just be loanly. It would be school, homework, tv and bed. There would be not Hello, whats up, can you help me, or lets go out and get some food. A life without a dog, brother, or friend, is a life without Jack.

A laugh, A smile, A happy moment

Lots of things can make you laugh. A funny joke. A funny face. A cute kid. Another laugh. A memory. A person who you feel comfortable around.
A smile comes from tons of things. Enjoying the moment. A compliment. Giving a compliment. Helping someone. Telling someone you love them. Loving someone. Someone telling you they love you. Being in love. Being with the people you love. A memory. A laugh. A cute kid. A funny face.
So, what is a happy moment? A moment without words that is almost perfect. A moment with nonstop talking with the people you love to be around. A moment of akward silence. A moment of flowing conversation. Getting to know someone. A compliment. A funny joke that everyone smiles and laughs at. Food! A dance. A show. 3 words. 4 letters/symbols and 2 spaces. I <3 U. Your hand and his touching. His arm around you. A kiss. A short kiss. A long kiss. Coudling.
When you laugh, you have to smile. Smiling comes from being happy and enjoying that moment. All you need to have a laugh, a smile, and a happy moment and memory, is a giggle, a grin, and no, not a moment of contentment lol (is that a word?). A person you love and enjoy there company and feels the same way about you.

Parenting

OK, I am not a parent. I am only 15 and I am not that stupid but I do know a thing or two and definitely have my opinions Listen to your children. As your kids should listen to you, you should listen to you kids. Hear what they have to say because it may be something important or that can have an effect on how they live. Also, never say "Because I said so". It teacher your child that they don't have to look at the reactions of there behaviors and action. Just explain why it is dangerous or not good for them, in age simple terms. If you can't think of how it can hurt them, it might be OK after all. Not everything you think is wrong, really is bad. Talk with your children and bond with them. Sometime they have to learn to go with the flow, but think about how they feel also. Don't put them in situation that could possibly be altered to make them happy to.
DISCIPLINE YOU CHILD! You do know whats best for them. Give them a real time out, (never in there room), and tell them what they did that was wrong. After they seem to grasp it and have said they are sorry, then you can tell them you love them and kiss and hug. Never physically abuse your child. Even a slap or a spanking. It will never help. It teaches them violence or to be scared of you instead of teaching them that you are the boss and what you says goes.

First post, don't judge, games can be fair.

I'm Salena. Most people from an outside look would consider me to be an ordinary girl. I guess I am and I don't have a problem with that but I do have a problem with the fact that most people don't take ordinary 15 year old girl seriously. I have opinions about everything, including the fact that people should not judge. Let's face it, every can be judged. No one has perfect hair, a perfect smile, and a perfect body. One of the reasons for that is that perfection is in the eye of the beholder and what is great to someone, can be horrible to the next. Even though, I bet all of us are judged numerous times a day does not mean we should judge others. Just because you look like a model does not mean your stupid. The title of my blog is girl of many colors and that is because I have more than one side. I think everyone does and that's why just because you know one thing about someone, doesn't mean you know everything. My parents often think they know everything in my life and who I am. They probaly do know most of the things in my life but not as much who I am. They don't know what my struggles are or what I am capible of. They can't tell how hard I try or what scares me. They might know that I want to succeed, but I don't think they know that's why I play the game. I play it fair.

There is no need to cheat in a board game. Sometime you win, sometimes you loose, but everyone can have fun just playing the game. I think it is simplar in life but unlike a game, you need to work to make other as well as yourself happy. Everyone can and should be treated equal. There is no exuces. "It doesn't have to be fair" or "Because I said so" should never be used. If you try your best to make everyone happy, it is the most fair it can be and you should have a reason fore everything. I know you may think I am just a 15 year old who wants things her way but that is not how it is at all. I know I live a very lucky life and have a great family, who raised me well, but I know things could have been better if we worked together to make the best fit for everyone. Even today, it seem my family does not care about our (the kids) choises. They can't even try and work with us to find a place that everyone is happy.

So, comment to my blog with your own opinions and the next time your child, someone who looks up to you, or someone your making choises for, asks you to do something else or a different way, try and work together so you both can be happy.
